Highforest Club
At the end of a winding bush track and sandstone steps that travel beneath a canopy of native trees is the Highforest Club, the social heart of the Highforest community. Within its timbered walls that blend beautifully into the forest landscape, there is proposed to be a 20 metre indoor pool, alongside a bookable dining space and alfresco area for entertaining and special celebrations. Outdoors is planned to include a forest fitness area, multi-purpose hard court, and a secluded yoga lawn. A children’s play area offers boundless hours of fun for residents and the wider community**.

Banksia Lounge
Urbanity meets forest living in the Banksia Lounge where residents of the four apartment buildings, have a shared space for their exclusive enjoyment. The bookable private dining space is proposed to be a sophisticated venue for entertaining, complemented by a resident lounge area and connecting outdoor terrace. A proposed co-working space caters for those working from home alongside a meeting room.

Forest Park
At the edge of Highforest, Forest Park is proposed to be a publicly accessible place for social gathering, play and learning. A cultural classroom with a seating circle surrounded by flora native to the Hills District is conceived as a bridge to understanding and respecting Ngurra (Country). Barbecues, picnic shelters, a children’s playground, and a children's bicycle track are planned as a welcome addition for the whole community**. Walkways from the Forest Park will lead into the Cumberland State Forest, connecting to existing walking trails.

Cumberland State Forest
The network of walking trails through Cumberland State Forest suit varying levels of fitness and agility, which you can enjoy at your own walking or running pace. The gentle Sensory Trail is suitable for young and old – even babes in prams - with plenty of shade and a wide variety of plant life that you’re encouraged to touch and smell. Palm Gully Trail will delight bird watchers and those who like a slightly more challenging workout, while the 1.3km Forestry Trail will take you through tall native trees and down into cool fern-fringed gullies.
