Reducing embodied carbon
Aligned with Mirvac’s commitment to reducing environmental impact, every home at Highforest will be built using low-carbon concrete and timber framing in place of steel. With solar panels on every rooftop, these all-electric homes have been designed by Mirvac to help residents lower their carbon emissions and energy bills.
RESPONSIBLE SOURCING
To champion responsible sourcing and the circular economy, the Highforest Display Home has been furnished by Valiant Interiors, a Certified B Corporation. Featuring pieces crafted from recycled materials such as textiles and plastics, each space reflects innovation and sustainability while maintaining exceptional style and comfort.
Furniture in the display home includes upholstery fabric and side tables made from recycled plastic bottles, bedheads made from recycled wool and textile waste that would otherwise go to landfill, and tables made from solid Mungur wood sourced from sustainable forests.
